I describe myself as someone who is passionate about learning and trying new things, while also not being afraid to inquire about things I don't understand. I am excited to continue my career in software engineering and make a positive impact on the world. I grew up playing sports my whole life such as basketball, soccer, and golf, which has helped me become a great leader and teammate. I aspire to travel and see as much of the world, and try new experiences around the world!

Bachelors in Computer Science •May 2020
I started college pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering, but switched to computer science my second semester of sophomore year. I took the Intro to Java course and fell in love with the idea of being able to create, design, and build out my ideas through code. I found the career that I wanted to pursue, but am still looking to find which direction I want to take in the field. I took a wide variety of classes ranging from backend to frontend development, algorithms, and networks.
Senior Software Engineer• July 2020 - Current
In my current role at Target Corporation, I am responsible for designing, customizing, developing, and deploying a web application that is used by over 4,000 team members. The application uses React and Typescript to create a responsive web page that allows users to track freight, create analytics charts, and increase efficiency of warehouse operations. I also contribute to a reusable, internal component library to build higher level modules for overall consistency across the application and ease of updating in all locations. I have also spent extensive time working with backend systems and building out scalable Kafka consumers and producers with Kotlin.
Software Engineer Intern• June 2019 - August 2019
I was an intern with Target's Prepaid Services Team where I helped engineer and develop API's with third party vendors for the activation of prepaid video game cards. This microservice was used in conjustion with POS to deliver fast, secure, and accurate activations of guest's newly purchased cards.
Help Desk and Field Technician• May 2018 - January 2020
I was a part of a campus wide project to install routers in 20 residence halls for improved internet speed. Provided technology and customer service support for 9,000 University Housing staff and residents, which included troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues. Also configured computer workstations and printers for better student experience.
My college and work experiences have allowed me to learn a lot about these different skills below. I have had extensive work on Java and JavaScript/ReactJS projects, while soley using Git for my version control. I know the main concepts and ideas for HTML/CSS work, but am currently doing more practice to learn about those.

A reddit like forum built where users can create meme posts, like them, and know which ones they've already seen. The APIs most likely won't work since I haven't gotten the paid version to host. This link will take you to a login, but a home screen is just index route of the url.
